Mr. Pisapia lately performed Poliuto in
Marseille and Zurich
, La Traviata in Lecce, Macbeth at the
Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Rigoletto in Palermo , Tosca in
Atlanta, La Bohème, I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata, Madama
Butterfly and Lucia di Lammermoor in Hamburg.
Active also on the concert side, he recently sang Dvorak's Stabat Mater in
Trieste, a lyric concert at the Teatro Regio in Turin, a recital at the Suntury
Hall in Tokyo, and Verdi’s Requiemin Moscow, St. Gallen and Hamburg.
After that, he performed at the Aids Gala
Concert in Berlin, Donald Runnicles conducting, in Madama Butterfly at
the Teatro Regio in Turin, Pinchas Steinberg conducting and in Tosca at the
Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
Future plans:
Aida

Bergen; Rigoletto at the Festival Internacional de Musica de Bogotà and
various concerts in Germany and in Japan.

Nino Surguladze - Amneris (March 25th, 27th, 30th, April 2nd, 5th)
Georgian
born Nino Surguladze is one of the most interesting artist of her generation.
After attending Accademia alla Scala she has already sung in world’s premier
opera stages such as Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden in
London, Metropolitan Opera in New York, Arena in Verona, Gran Teatre de
Liceu in Barcelona, Glyndebourne Festival, Salzburg Festival, Teatro Real in
Madrid, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, Teatro San
Carlo in Naples, Teatro Regio in Turin and in Parma, collaborating with such
conductors as Muti, Plasson, Harding, Gergiev. Ms. Surguladze lately sang
Sinaïde in Moïse et Pharaon (cond. Muti) at the Salzburg Festival and in
Rome; Dorabella in Così fan Tutte and Carmen (title role) in
Tokyo; Carmen in San Diego and St. Petersburg; Olga in Evgenij Onegin in
Chicago. Mrs. Surguladze just starred as Maddalena in Rigoletto in
Cologne and Genoa under Fabio Luisi; Fenena in Nabucco at La Scala in
Milan and Olga in Evgenij Onegin at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Stéphano
in Roméo et Juliette at the Arena in Verona. Nino Surguladze starred as
Maddalena in the opera movie Rigoletto, beside Placido Domingo in the
title role. Plans include: Carmen
in Seoul and Sassari; Aida in Bergen; Rigoletto at the Festival
Internacional de musica de Bogotà.

Rudi Park - Radamès
(March 26th, 28th, April 1st, 4th, 11th)
Particularly appreciated in the Verdi and Verismo repertoire, he made his debut
as Calaf (Turandot) in 2008 in Italy, after studying at the Accademia di
Santa Cecilia in Rome. He then furthered his studies in Italy and Germany. Among
his past successes, it is worth mentioning: Tosca at the Teatro
Filarmonico in Verona and at the Festival Puccini in Torre del Lago; Ernani
at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna (and then on tour in Japan) and more recently
at the Teatro Comunale in Sassari and for the Circuito Lirico Lombardo (Cremona,
Como, Pavia and Brescia); Cavalleria Rusticana and Trovatore in
Athens; Turandot in Genoa and Skopje; Norma in Budapest. In 2011
Mr. Park made his debut at the Nikikai Opera Foundation as Calaf in Turandot
under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti. More recently he starred as Arrigo in
I Vespri Siciliani in Athens, as Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana in
Las Palmas and Sassari, and again as Calaf in Turandot in Nancy. Mr Park
participated in Cavalleria Rusticana at the Teatro alla Scala.
Plans
include: Turandot in Detroit, Skopje and Bogotà; Otello in Athens
and Seoul.

Music
Director at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège.
Regularly
invited by the major theaters and opera festivals,
Paolo Arrivabeni is an expert of Italian Operas particularly interested also in
great Russian and German composers; in the past seasons he had indeed conducted
works by Mahler, Strauss and Musorgskij. M°
Arrivabeni recently conducted La Favorite at the Théâtre des Champs
Elysées in Paris, Traviata and Macbeth in Dresden, La Forza del
Destino and a Wagnerian Gala in Liège, Il Trovatore at the
Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, Macbeth and Nabucco at
the Staatsoper in Berlin, La Straniera in Marseille, Macbeth in
Copenaghen.
Future plans: Il
Turco in Italia and revivals of Lucrezia Borgia at the Bayerische
Staatsoper in Munich; Maria Stuarda and Nabucco at the Staatsoper
in Berlin; La Bohème at the New National Theatre in Tokyo; La
Straniera at the Theater an der Wien; Don Giovanni in Monte- Carlo; La
Forza del Destino at the Grand Théâtre de Genève; La Rondine in
Toulouse; Moïse et Pharaon, Boris Godunov and I Due Foscari in
Marseille; Don Carlo in Dresden; and Roberto Devereux at
the Teatro Comunale in Florence.
In Liège M° Arrivabeni will conduct
La Cenerentola, Tosca, Les Pécheurs de Perles, Ernani, Die Zauberflöte, La
Bohème, Turandot, Nabucco, Otello.
